Meet some of the most amazing raptors\, and learn about the amazing adaptations these nocturnal birds of prey rely on to find prey\, hide\, defend territory\, and take care of their young. You’ll have an opportunity to see these incredible birds live and up close while learning more about owls and their fascinating adaptations.

SUMMARY:Straight Lake State Park Candlelight Night Hike
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a fall evening at Straight Lake State Park with hundreds of luminaries guiding your path along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. The trail is a natural surface with uneven terrain and some steep slopes with stone steps crossing a stream. This event includes a two-mile trail for hiking\, warming fires\, refreshments\, and kids activities. Park at the Day Use parking lot and board the trolley to start the trail at 280th Ave. Dress appropriately for the weather\, wear boots and bring light source. Shorter hike options available.  \nThe event will occur unless there is inclement weather. \nVehicle Admission Pass Required. \n
