At the same time\, we’ll mark the park’s 126th anniversary\, honoring its rich history and natural beauty. Best of all\, admission to the park is free on Sunday Sept 20! SUMMARY:CCC Interpretive Trail Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Please join us at the site of Camp Interstate (large parking lot along the park road before entering the river bottoms) and explore the newly created CCC Interpretive Trail. Come and check out new interpretive signs that tell the story of the Civilian Conservation Corp and its important role in Interstate Park’s history!  Enjoy cookies inspired by recipes from the CCC Camp Cookbook while discovering a little more about the people who helped shape the park we enjoy today!  Individuals will be on hand to share more information about the CCC and the work of this passion project made possible with matching grants from the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program! \nFor more information about the CCC at Interstate Park\, check out our website! \nPark Admission: Entrance Fee is Waived for today’s celebration!\nWeather: Any outdoor programs are weather dependent – check the Friends Facebook page for any programming cancellations due to weather.
