We’ll share some of what we’ve accomplished this year\, talk about what’s ahead for the Friends and our parks\, elect new board members\, celebrate volunteers and most importantly\, spend some time together! \nFollowing the Annual Meeting … \nOwls! A presentation by the Wildlife Science Center \nWhen daylight ends\, some of nature’s most fascinating predators become active. Often heard\, seldom seen\, owls rule the night sky. Meet some of the most amazing raptors\, and learn about the amazing adaptations these nocturnal birds of prey rely on to find prey\, hide\, defend territory\, and take care of their young. You’ll have an opportunity to see these incredible birds live and up close while learning more about owls and their fascinating adaptations.
