SUMMARY:The Art of Journaling with Watercolors
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxing and creative watercolor journaling experience at Wisconsin Interstate Park! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist\, this hands-on workshop will introduce you to the art of observing and documenting nature through watercolor painting and journaling. \nGuided by teaching artist Lauren Hefty\, participants will learn techniques for sketching\, watercolor painting\, color mixing\, composition\, and recording observations in a nature journal. During the indoor instructional session\, you’ll gain practical skills and inspiration before heading outdoors to explore the beauty of Interstate Park’s scenic landscapes\, river views\, rock formations\, forests\, and wildlife. \nNature journaling is a wonderful way to slow down\, connect with the natural world\, and develop a deeper appreciation for the environment.
