Spring Bird Hike – Interstate Park

Join Expert Birder, Brian Collins for a spring hike at Interstate Park!
The early bird gets the worm! Start your weekend right with an early morning bird hike led by Brian Collins, an expert birder who has identified over 60 birds in previous years. Be sure to bring binoculars to best spot the spring birds! We will walk out and back and be in search of migrating birds and those who will make their nests there for the season.
We will meet at Camp Interstate and check out nests of the Blue Herons as we walk up the hill through the Group Camp. You may also join us at the Group Camp parking area around 7:20 a.m. We will walk down the Silver Brook trail to the bridge and back.
Please dress for the weather, including rain gear if needed. These hikes will only be called off if severe weather is imminent. A valid Wisconsin State Park Pass is required.
We will meet at Camp Interstate and check out nests of the Blue Herons before hiking the Skyline Trail. (Parking area Circled in Red Below.)
