On February 13, a special nature storytime adventure was enjoyed by more than 80 people at the Ice Age Center at Interstate Park. Wildlife educator, Chris Cold, with the help of several of his feathery and scaly friends informed nature storytime participants of many special adaptations used by animals that make them uniquely suited for the places they live.

Wildlife Educator, Chris Cold shares information about special animal adaptations to the Nature Storytime participants.

Chris Cold is a retired wildlife technician and educator for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Bureau of Wildlife Management. Based in Ladysmith, he continues to serve as a mobile, non-formal educator, who travels extensively throughout Wisconsin offering programs on wildlife and related topics of natural history to schools and adult audiences. His presentations typically include the display and interpretation of live, native animals which he maintains for this purpose.
