The bird hike at Interstate Park was awesome on Saturday May 16! 58 species of birds were spotted, with a variety of vireos and warblers in the trees along the trail. The air was filled with lovely birdsongs.
The blue heron rookery was active with adult birds flying back and forth to their nests to feed the chicks. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather-the sun was shining and the temperature was pleasant.
Thanks are extended to Brian Collins for sharing his knowledge with park visitors!
